The Fort Myers Beach 4th of July fireworks show begins at approximately 9 P.M. at Times Square. You can bring a beach chair and and enjoy the show as the beautiful fireworks light up the night sky!
- Consider taking the Beach Trolley from the Wyndham Garden hotel to Times Square to enjoy Independence Day!
- Paid parking lots are located at Lynn Hall Park, on Old San Carlos Blvd., under the Matanzas Pass Bridge.
Anyone over the age of six will be required to wear a mask if they are unable to social distance. You must have a mask on hand and ready for use whether indoors or outdoors.
Restaurant customers can take their masks off when eating and drinking and people in beauty salons and barbershops can remove their face coverings when receiving services.
Closing time for the Matanzas Pass bridge is 9:30pm-11pm to oncoming traffic. So during that time you can get off the island but not on.
The Town Council reminds everyone that fireworks are illegal everywhere and at all times on the beach and throughout the Town even though the state of Florida’s rules are more lax. Fireworks are harmful to the large variety of natural resources in the beach environment in addition to being fire hazards.
